It's an amazing journey we've had this semester!!! Everything went perfectly for both shows and I'm excited to see what we can do in the last 2 shows of the semester!! Yay :) GO FAST TRACK

Fast Track: The April 2 Show
For last weeks show, everything went really well, the health minute went perfectly, Sheena's story was amazing, and the sports cast always have fresh and new ideas to bring to the show. It is amazing to see how everyone is becoming so closely comfortable working with everyone. Each week there's an amazing factor of the show. Frances does a great good with the script each week and everyone brings in their stories on time without hesitation. We only have 2 weeks left and to seems as if the weeks are creeping upon us. We are having a great semester and we have a great newscast. 2 more shows! Yay!!
Fast Track: The Eighth & Ninth Show
Both the March 12 and March 26 shows were performed very well, as for the performance in the videos, there great and we all adapted quickly to the tasks. In each segment, there was something new and exciting such as Joey's update in student loans, or Robby and Sara Wags making a great effort in collaborating with the news cast. Everything went perfectly for both shows and I'm excited to see what we can do in the last 2 shows of the semester!! Yay :) GO FAST TRACK

Fast Track: The Seventh Show
The show for March 5 was absolutely amazing, there were a few complications with the camera and shaking, but for the most part everyone did a great job. Joey and Patrick did a great job in pulling the show off. I pulled it off my starting a health minute for the show, which was definitely needed. Everyone did an awesome job!! Overall, everything went pretty well!!!

Wow...
I had some time in my Com 252 class to watch the show and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Everyone's stories were phenomenal. Good shots, good voice overs, everything looked excellent. The anchors did a great job and big props to Sheena for filling in at anchor! You were great! Lastly, Mandy's weather walk from the wall to the shot with Joe and Tommy was amazing. It was directed and edited perfectly! GREAT JOB EVERYONE! This year has been a blast! Only 2 shows to go!

April 1st...
There was no fooling on this show! Everyone seemed confident in their roles. Jen looked great doing sports with Tommy. Robbie, I enjoyed doing sports with you again. Joey you are really a natural. I liked how in Joey's segment we did a question and answer segment that included the anchors. Sarah C, our story came out great and was really compelling with the interview from Sarah Strong. Weather was nicely done by Mandy. I got to hand it to Robby and Tommy who did the top 10, that had to be my favorite part of the show.
Great work! Let's keep it up guys!

April 1 Show
Last week's show had a lot of strong points to it. I thought Joey looked really calm and acted as a natural for the 2nd week in a row. It was cool how we had the 2 anchors and then throw it directly to the political commentary. I also thought Veronica sounded really good during her health minute. Her voice was clear and precise and sounded very intelligent concerning the topics she was discussing. I also liked the footage in Sheena's story on the church and the interview that Sarah Wartman did. Last, I like how we keep alternating the anchor who does the umbrella tease because it seems like each brings a different energy to start off the show each week.

March 26th show
I think everyone did outstanding in their new positions. Joey did very fabulous! You are talented on and behind the camera. Veronica did excellent as anchor. Tony .. well what can I say about Tony Manzo, the kid cracks me up! Really impressed with Many, she looks like a true weather girl. Joe and Tommy ... you got some competition in sports with me and Jen! Girl Power taking over sports segment. Stories this week I enjoyed as well. I like how we got students input for the Duke game. Everyone was up to the new challenges we faced this week and conquerred them well. Can't wait to this week's show.

March 26 Show
This show was different because we had people in different roles and I really thought people did a good job in their different segments. Joe rocked the A segment and showed he can be serious when he has to do serious news. Joe showed he can talk about any type of news not just sports. I thought Pat's story was really good because the interview he conducted had great footage and the respondent was clear and precise with what she was trying to convey to Pat. Joey did a real good job on the political update. He seemed poise and collected when he was talking and you would have never noticed that it was his first time on camera this semester. I also thought Swags delivered a real good umbrella tease and showed a lot of excitement, starting the show off to a good start.

FASTTRACK: 3/4 SHOW
Before I forget to say this Robby your improvising on the IU game really knocked my socks off. That was really impressive. Sorry for messing up the prompter the first run through. Joe Parello won my heart this week! His story on the NFL try outs and how extraordinary the times are is so cute and very original. It really humanizes him as an anchor and makes him so likeable to viewers! Also he just looked dashing in the red suit of his with the pocket cloth. That is just pure class. I also liked Sarah Wagner's story on PUDM. It was very thorough! I really really think were coming together gang. Nick great job on the graphics by the way:D You work so hard! We all do!
2/25
We are really starting to get into a groove and I like it! Nadine's Haiti story was really well done, it was a solid interview with excellent information. I also really like Joey's story on college kids and credit cards, I learned a lot! Sarah Cometa sounded really awesome and super confident this week on camera as well as the other anchors! Lookin' good guys!
FASTTRACK: 2/ 19
Picking my brain for the details! I love the fact we always have the very latest footage for sports. We have a lot of sports enthusiasts which is great, because they contribute different thigns to the show the adequately cover all the sports. It was great Robbie and Joe were there for the Ohio State game! Kateland you're doing wonderfully for the sports round up and in my opinion your stories are most consistently the best. Nick your Rudy Goldberg story was solid. Well done! All the anchors just keep getting better and better keep up the good work!

Feb. 26th
Everyone is doing wonderful. Kateland you are doing a nice job filling in for sports round up. I thought all the stories for this week looked great as well. Everyone is becoming more comfortable with the positions behind the scenes. Learning all the duties is a must and everyone is becoming good at more than one thing.
Keep it up everyone.

I agree with you Shadya. Kateland you did a great job filling in for Sports, and I thought we worked well together. Joey, your stories are just amazing. I liked your stand-up, well, sit-down at the end of your first story to tie it all together. It was really nice getting the show done this week on time in a precise manner. The sky is the limit, and we are starting to reach the clouds!

I really liked this weeks show... I think everyone still continues to improve and everyone should be proud that we finished early this week! I really think that Kateland did well stepping in for the sports round up... She spoke really well and stood nicely next to Robby in it. I also am impressed at the creativity that everyone has to keep stories from becoming repetitive! Good job to everyone and I can honestly say I like working with everyone =]
Feb 25th Show
This show was done with a lot of time to spare and I think that is due to everyone's organization this week. Lighting was a lot better this week and people carried through their speaking parts and background jobs more effectively this week. I really liked Joey's story this week with regards to credit cards and college students. I especially liked the graphic you used with the credit card stats/facts. The graphics on each story in the upper right hand corner I thought were really affective in getting the viewers ready for the upcoming segment. I thought Nadine's interview with the director of the FCA was very informative and effective in the efforts that are going on with Haiti. Last, I liked Mandy's weather report this week. I thought it flowed really well and she seemed sure of herself as a weather forecaster.

Fast Track: The Sixth Show
The show this week was great, the transition in Joey and Sheena's story were in order and flowed well. Jennifer presented well, although she wasn't for sure if she did well on Thursday. Paul did a great job mentioning the "Snowpocalypse," with hope I spelled that correctly!! Everyone did a fine job in directing and controlling the teleprompter, which I always have a problem with controlling. The local and national weather is always a surprise when presented, which happen to be the most interesting and fun segment of the show. Overall, the show went pretty well!!!

The semester is flying by guys. So far it has been a pleasure working with all of you. This past show was great. Joey you had a lot of good b-roll for your Haiti story and it worked well with your voiceover. Frances I really liked your over the shoulder shot when you were interviewing in your first story. Kateland you had another great story this week, you kind of have a religion story theme going on week to week! Veronica you are doing a wonderful job with the political updates! I know it is a lot of information, but you are doing an excellent job getting through them! Mandy, the national weather is looking better and better each week! You are becoming more natural and it is smoothing out really well!
Patrick keep up the awesome work with putting the show together! You make it look great!
Everyone else great job!

Fast Track: The Fifth Show
The show went pretty well this week, everyone seems to get the hang of everything and I truly appreciate the work you all put into the show. It seems like everyday we all learn something new and more behind-the-scene functions, which is always good. I'm happy to see everyone is working really well with each other and our stories are getting better each week. We all have done a great job this time around and I excited to see what next week has in store for us :) See you guys next week.

Show's strengths
There were a lot of cool stories this week and some had really good footage. I liked Joe's highlights on the Ohio state game and thought it was cool that we actually had both Joe and Robbie at the game to get highlights. I also thought the recycle story was really interesting and had really good footage. Last I thought all the anchors did a good job handling the time crunch we went through during last week's show. Things got out of whack and composure was still maintained.

This Week's Show...
I thought Joe and Tommy's sports highlights were really well put-together and had good voice overs.
Joey's stories continue to be the star of the show in my opinion with his interviews and well-put together packages. Nick's story on Rube Goldberg looked great too!
Overall, another good show this week!

Hey all,
I'm really happy with how this week's show turned out. Sometimes with the difficulty we have during filming it's hard to imagine how the show will turn out, and this week was a delightful surprise. Thanks Patrick and Frances for the long hours putting it all together! Good job everyone and lets keep up the amazing work!

2/12 Show
I thought there was a lot of good things that happened with the show this week. The anchors did a real good job with their composure this week amidst the mic issues that we had. I also thought that the people that did do stories, did a real good job and had a lot of good shots/angles. It seems like everyone is getting a little better each week and it's real nice to see progress being made. It's also nice to see people learning how to do different positions rather quickly. Good job everyone.
Fast Track Week 4
Hey guys,
I thought this weeks show was a lot better than I expected. The stories sounded good from the lead in that the anchors read but they all turned out to be way more interesting that I thought they would be. Everyone is starting to get the hang at things from what I can see...
Keep up the great work! =]

Everyone was AMAZING about getting their stories to me on-time!!! I can NOT even tell you how much I appreciate it. It keep me sane and happy:D
The anchors just keep getting better, it's fun watching you guys improve week to week!
Veronica the content of your political update is really exceptional. I know how hard it is to filter a pile of what all seems to be vital information, you do it and are still a nice, friendly, and calm person. I have so much respect for you! And thank you so much for always helping me with the script and the prompter even though I'm fuming. I really really appreciate it.
Nick, Jesse, Tony, Patrick, and Joey-Thank you thank you thank you for your patience and for helping me with the prompter and fiddling with it. You all show so much patience with me when I have so little. You're an inspiration! And you all are so solid at your jobs. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to tell yet if you WEREN'T doing your jobs, but you all sure look like you know what you're doing and that's important!!
I know everyone knows each other and every one has classes together except me but I still feel like a part of the gang, and it feels good:D Thank you everyone for helping me out you all are the best!!
FASTTRACK: 2/ 5
-Overall I think the anchors sound GREAT! Most of them read and deliver really well and look good on camera.
-I think the people behind the scenes are doing really really well, they're obviously pros and all of this is like brushing their teeth. I have a lot of respect for how smoothly they keep everything running. I'm obviously the Rookie:/
- I think we got a nice variety of stories this week, I think there was something to interest everyone in the student body and community.
-Joe and Tommy are a good team and they look good together on camera. I always look forward to their Sports tag team stories.
Splendid...
Howdy,
So this week's show was definitely the best so far. I've got to give major props to the post-prod people. They are what really make the show sparkle and glisten. Everyone's stories were great this week and it was very interesting to see them all. I was really impressed with the way Segment A continues to look stronger every time. That team works together really well, and the sports round-up crew has been improving every show. Good for those two.
That's it from me. Since it is Valentine's Day, I wish everyone the very bestest in their quest to find 'the one.'

Hey Guys,
I thought this weeks show was a really awesome one, probably the best one we have had yet. Although we got crunched for time at the end, we did a good job keeping our tempers in check and learning our respective jobs. I thought the stories were awesome, Patrick on the last minute story was awesome, I really liked the way you got the b-roll for that story, it was awesome. Tony's story was cool too, mostly because I had no idea that the event was going on at all. Kateland your story was tight too, the shots you got of the activities and calligraphy and moves and stuff were really awesome. For the rest of you guys, great job, and I think we're getting to the point now where we can really make the show our own.
Great job again!,

Hey Guys,
I think that we are doing a great job at coming up with stories and ideas to keep the show moving along through the semester. Believe me I know this time of year gets to be hell, but I know if we keep at it we can be one of the best Fast Track teams ever. Plus for only having like 1 CNN story... And Joe I liked your roundtable thing that was good, eventhough it looked a little dark.
Hope you guys are enjoying fast track!

Hey Trackee's :)
I thought this week's show was fun to watch. I really like to see how everyone's stories and the work we put in the studio go into creating our own unique show. Although we were pushed for time this week we pulled through and worked together. I see many improvements just in the past three weeks and I'm sure we will continue getting better.

Everyone has pretty much said it, but everyone is doing better and better. The show, even though has been struggling at points, is running smoothly and people are getting very comfortable with their positions. Everyone is supporting each other very well too which I think is a big reason the show is doing so well.
My mom also wants me to pass on that the camera people do a wonderful job...haha.

Week 3= Great Success! :)
Week 3 Show has arrived and I have to say that I think we did a great job! We are improving each week and it is very exciting to see! My favorite thing about the Week 3 show was the variety of stories. From Superbowl coverage to the story behind a busy night at Chipotle, there was a wide array of topics featured on the show this week. There was truly something for everyone and that's what makes our show so appealing to our viewers. Keep up the great work Fast Trackers! :)
Week 3 Show
This weeks show was great. Each week gets better than the last. Improvements have been made on all fronts with each person getting more comfortable in their positions and at performing their tasks. Nothing kicks my Friday nights off better than to curl up on my couch and watch Fast Track. All the anchors did a spectacular job with their segments. Keep up the good work
3rd time's a charm
Hi guys,
I was so impressed with this week's show. I think we nailed it! I think we are all becoming really comfortable being on camera and I notice the people behind the scenes are very confident in what they are doing and have kept things running smoothly. I know the show will continue to get better and better each week but like I said 3rd time was for sure a charm!
See you on Thursday!

The third show was great, we all work well together and everyone was prepared. The backgrounds were great and the directors and camera crew work very well with transitioning to the next segment.

3rd Show Highs
I think the thing that stands out for me is the progress everyone is making. Each and every person continues to improve and make strides to become better week in and week out. The last couple of weeks we have fallen behind with regards to time, but nobody seems to panic. People are trying jobs that they aren't used to doing and are becoming even more comfortable with the show as time goes by. The show will become even more efficient and successful as people become more and more comfortable with the show and the jobs that are asked of them to get done.
Seg A & C Are Very Good
With our 3rd show in the books, I was impressed with everyone's presence on camera. The stories were relevant to students this week and the show was well put together with the controlled chaos of the week. That's about it from me.

Fast Track: The Second Show
The second show was full of surprises from each director and anchor. The directors knew all controls for sound, background, b-rolls and other functions. The anchors came with new and improved presentation in dress, form, voice and presence. Others took a role in prompter controls and community calendar well and succeed in the flow of the show.

First Two Shows
Hey Guys,
Great job on the first two shows, and I really mean that. For a first time group, many of us who have no idea what we are doing, I think we are doing a tremendous job at learning and improving. I can tell by the enthusiasm in the anchors and the control booth group that we can take this show to another level by the end of our semester, as long as we continue to learn and try to improve. I know the past two weeks have been hectic and stressful, but soon I think we'll all get excellent at what we do.
Great Job again guys!,
Joey Beard
