i think sarah's balloon boy story was both entertaining and informative. prof. sparks is always a great interview and the POS interviews were fun too. Eric's story on the H1N1 shot with Tiffany was a great idea and they pull it off well. The weather is getting better, you can tell Amanda is getting a great deal more comfortable in front of the camera. I love Paige's story about the fans rushing the field, it really captured the emotions of the staff and players. Shadya was great as usual on the local weather. Main story of segment D... I need a tan. Also, Eric's Toyota story was great. He has a real flair for writing his stories in a snappy way. That's all i got, holla back.

Paige's story really made sports come together nicely this week, I think. I also really liked the balloon boy story because it did a good job of not just saying the same things that that other news shows have been saying for weeks. Eric was great as usual, doing the work of ten reporters. The shows coming together more and more. I know there are things I'm forgetting but thats it for now.

I thought Juan's smoking ban story came together really well. There were a lot of good close-ups used and the interviews were informative as well. Eric's story was of course great as well. Following Tiffany getting her vaccination made for an interesting intro to the story. I liked the Balloon Boy story as well, very entertaining. Especially liked the caption "Up, Up, and a-wait."

Before anything else, props to Harry and Nick for making our show LOOK like a show, despite the chaos during the taping of our segments. These guys do a terrific job every week (and at the last minute, too). It would be nice, for editing purposes, to improvise camera turns (when we know about them coming next) so it appears as if we're actually doing the show live. Sometimes, from a 2 shot to an OTS, a jump cut of the same anchor can look awkward. Along with following the script ourselves (and knowing what's directly next), maybe we can ask Brad if he approves of a particular camera turn?? The turn would be done on the 2 shot... We'll see. Not every time can we pull one of these off (in the event that a story does not end up making it into the show). A turn, then, could actually be a bad thing. All in all, everyone is doing a good job. I see the differences already. Paige and Sarah are groovy, and seem to enjoy being the female "captains" of our show. It's an important role being the only two girls leading the ship; we have plenty of guys as it is. Great Group X promos, Tiffany!! And there was a PMO promo done from Pat's COM261 class that was impressive. The local stories are my favorite parts of the show. Juan, Sarah, and Bram all had key stories that were relevant to on-campus news. It'd be nice to have as many of these local stories as possible. I also like the efforts of several who volunteer their time on a regular basis to help others with their video shoots. It's cool to see the team work in action outside of class time. By the way, when it is appropriate, a smile on-set goes a very long way. Smiles performed by: Sarah, Joe, Sam, Paige & Tommy (sports)... Keep it up, Trackers! Five weeks left...

I think the interaction between Paige and Eric is really good. Juan had extremely good film in his story. Harry's face in our commercial is really funny. Did Nick forget to do the dishes again?!? Haha just kidding.Tiffany's shot experience was interesting to watch. I like the new jacket our lovely weather girl got! It looks nice. The new orange background for sports is cool.

Amanda is looking more comfortable on the camera. I think her weather is flowing more smoothly. I also liked Juan's shots especially the close up of the lady smoking.

This comment is for the 11/13 show. I thought the show overall was a success. I particularly liked JD's standup in the Zombies vs. Humans story. The first stand-up had really nice camera movement. It was a fun story about a topic that a lot of students are either participating in or have witnessed on campus. Great work everyone!
